Description | Automatic process control including measuring devices, analog and digital instrumentation, signal transmitters, recorders, alarms, controllers, control valves, and process and instrument diagrams. Includes loop connection and troubleshooting. | ||||||||||

Determination of Final Grade |
There will be chapter exams, a comprehensive final exam, a combined lab quiz and homework grade. Home work must be completed when due. All late homework not turned in on time will be counted as a zero. It is your responsibility to keep up with your assignments and homework. The course grade will be the average of the (homework, quiz, labs as one grade), the average (chapter test) as the second grade, and the (Final exam) as the third grade. Failure to take Final Exam will result in a Failing grade for the course. | ||||||||||

Attendance Policy | As class attendance is crucial to making a passing grade, after 5 missed class days a Failure will be recorded for the overall grade. After the class period begins you will be counted tardy, unless there is a recognized excuse. Two tardies will count as one day absent. Class absences can also have recognized excuses, with each being handled on a one on one basis with the instructor. | ||||||||||
